So you want to be a COOPVET?

Here is some information that may help you decide.

COOPVETS (CV) was founded in April of 2000 by a gamer that goes by the name of Exterminator. He started the foundation of the
organization, and then turned over the reins to Sam Snipe who expanded on the basic foundation and with the help of others started CV
what it is today. In 2004 Sam retired from CV. CoopVets was then taken over by long time member Turbo_D and with this new ownership,
CV evolution continued. In July 2009, Turbo_D retired from the Commander role, but stayed in CoopVets, and Crusher took the helm
as our new Commander of CV. Our evolution contines in CoopVets, and we are continually working with our membership.
We are the largest online Delta Force gaming squad on the net today.

We currently have 2 24 Hour JO:IC servers, which are open for public gaming.

We presently support the following games:

Land Warrior
Task Force Dagger
Joint Operations
Joint Operations: Escalation
Delta Force Extreme (no formal training program at this time)
Joint Operations: International Conflict

We support these games for COOP style play. Many of our members play other online gaming platforms (COD,
FEAR, RainbowSix, R6:Vegas, etc), but they are not supported by CoopVets. Our forums are extensive and active.
We have over 1500 gamers that are forum members. Joining the forums does not give you all the benefits a full
CV member receives. To join CoopVets, you must be sponsored, and complete your training to receive all the
benefits of a full fledged CV member.

A CV member will get the following additional benefits:

Expanded forum access:. You can get to places that only CV members can.

VT: We use Ventrilo as a talk program. This program allows members to talk to each other while playing. This truly enhances game play. CV has its own VT server. It is awesome to play a game and have someone from another country in the same game standing next to you on the virtual battlefield and talking to them in real time. We use this program also to help members with tech problems or to simply discuss how there day was.

Private Games: After a new CV completes their training they are given all passwords to access private CV games.

Access to our knowledgeable member base: If you are having tech problems our members help each other.

Stats program: We offer stats programs for both JO and TFD. This program can help you to better understand the areas of the game where you can improve. Stats are strictly for fun and have no bearing on a member’s status within the organization. You may qualify to host a stats server as a member. Certain criteria must be meant.

Building Friendships: CV members are easy to get along with and love to have fun. It is a great place to form new friendships.

Private CoopVets Servers: Passworded severs for CV members only.

Plus More……….

CV Training:
If you decide to join CV you will be placed in the CV training company for 30 days. The Cadre (CVc) will train you in all aspects of the game and will educate you in regards to our forums, VT, and Chain of Command (COC). They work with gamers that have no experience and those that are very experienced. Once you complete your training you will be placed in a regular platoon (the one you requested when enlisting).

Listen to what our members have said when asked what CV means to them!

CV6>SGT Slaughter says
“Well it means a good a (great) bunch of guys and girls that play the same online game that i do with the same courtesy of team work and working together as a team”

General Lanky says
“CoopVets means, FUN, FAMILY, FRIENDSHIP. I have met many new folks here from around this small world of ours. Good friends too. I have been here for quite a while now and I am still enjoying my time online, chatting and playing alongside all of you.”

CV13>SFC Jenks says
“The playing of a game in cooperation with other players. Meeting, *talking*, and making friends with players from around the world.”

CV15>Tigress
“As I have just finished saying to a dear friend of mine....I got tired of the quite large group of cheaters and immature players in regular DM and TDM, and wandered upon a "baby blue" coop game called COOPVETS.....It is the best thing that has happened to me online in a long while. I had never played a coop game b4 in my life...after 1 game i was hooked. Of course it was well played as they all are...have never been on random servers again...Great bunch of ppl here, who love these games all in the same way....and being able to speak to you all is a pleasure.....I like to call it HOME!!!”

FAQ:
How much does it cost to join?
0, Notta, Nothing, Zip! We do except donations to pay for our forums and games server rental, but you are not obligated to donate and when members do we never divulge the information.

What is the time commitment?
The first month will take some of your time to complete your training but after that depending on the platoon you join the commitment is minimal. Check in weekly to your platoon forum and join an occasional platoon training session and your good to go. If you decide to move up the ladder: Rank brings added responsibility. You should consider the commitment before accepting a promotion.
